VOLCANO (4 views) This sculpture of 3 wooden panels is painted black on the outside and red, green and blue on the inside. Newspaper articles were transferred to polyclay "tiles" which represent the Chaos in the world today. The painted polyclay "tiles" are attached in a seemingly random manner and glass beads are embedded in the outside panels. An interior light causes the beads to sparkle. These "points of light" are the occasional moments of peace and joy experienced in the Chaos. All are on the surface of a Volcano....perhaps on the verge of eruption!
